Makar Sankranti Festival 2020

Dear Devotees,

The Samiti would like to inform you that the MAKARAVILAKKU MAHOTSAVAM 2020, the most auspicious occasion of the Lord Ayyappa alongwith 33rd Anniversary of Pranapratishta, will be celebrated in a highly traditional and devotional atmosphere with various art & cultural programmes on 12th, 13th and 14th January, 2020 at the temple premises as per the detailed programmes given in the following pages.

During the Festival, several purifying and energizing tantric/religious rituals are performed to enhance the “Chaitanya” of the presiding Deity and Sub-Deities and to remove all ill effects arising out of unknown causes in an around the temple. Such sacred deeds are believed to ensure perpetual happiness and prosperity for all people associating and participating in the festivities.

The year 2019 gave many fortune to a lot among us. But some of us had to shed tears. On both the situation we should not leave the ‘Bhagawat Padam’. The Lords love only is immortal. The committee solicits your physical, material and financial support and your benign presence on the days 12th, 13th and 14th January 2020.
