Mandala Pooja

Mandala Pooja is one of the most sacred and important annual observances celebrated at Shree Ayyappa Temple. The festival marks the conclusion of the holy 41-day Mandala Kalam season dedicated to Lord Ayyappa. The Mandala season for 2026 will be observed from 17/11/2026 to 27/12/2026. During this spiritually significant period, devotees prepare themselves through prayer, fasting, discipline, and daily worship while seeking the blessings of Lord Ayyappa.

During the Mandala season, devotees undertake vratham (austerities) by following a simple and disciplined lifestyle. The observance includes vegetarian food, regular temple visits, chanting of “Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa,” daily prayers, and maintaining purity in thought and action. Many devotees wear the sacred mala and traditional black, blue, or saffron attire as symbols of devotion and surrender to Lord Ayyappa. The Mandala vratham is considered a path toward self-discipline, spiritual purification, and inner peace.

At Shree Ayyappa Temple, Jaipur, Mandala Pooja is celebrated with special poojas, bhajans, deeparadhana, and devotional programs attended by devotees from different communities and regions. The temple is beautifully decorated, and devotees gather in large numbers to seek the blessings of Lord Ayyappa. Special offerings, prasadam distribution, and annadanam are also conducted as part of the celebrations, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for all devotees and visitors.

Devotees interested in participating in the Mandala Pooja celebrations or booking Bhajana programs may call the temple office or fill out the form available on the visiting page of Shree Ayyappa Temple Jaipur for further details and reservations.
