Children's Wing
A forum for children to discover the spark of divinity within — nurturing cultural roots, moral values, and a spirit of seva in young devotees.
For Children
Gokulam is a place where Lord Krishna’s magical childhood days were spent — where his divine powers first came to be recognised. Every child carries that same spark of divinity within.
Bala-Gokulam is a forum for children in Jaipur to discover and manifest that divinity. It enables children to appreciate their cultural roots, learn moral values in an enjoyable manner, make good friends, and develop a sense of Sewa — service to humankind.
Programmes
Onam, Makaravillaku, Vishu, Janmashtami, Ganesh Pooja and Guru Pooja are celebrated with a special focus on children's participation — children perform the pooja themselves and the meaning behind each festival is explained.
Vacation can be magical. Heritage Camps are conducted during summer vacation. In winter, children from all Bala-Gokulams of neighbouring areas gather for the unique "Bala Sangam" — a joyful celebration of culture and community.
Sewa is the best way to realise the divinity in all. Jaipur Bala-Gokulam children visit elderly people in care homes, volunteer at the temple, participate in community service, and collaborate with other voluntary groups.
